His Goodness

Romans 12:9 “Cling to what is good.” NIV

With so much going wrong in our lives and so much chaos in the world, it is often hard to find “good” to cling to. Yet the gift of knowing that the sun will rise and set today in perfect rhythm of His creation is something “good” to cling to. The fact that He has given you the gift of waking up today to voice prayers of gratitude is something “good” to cling to. Know today, no matter how bad things get, His love is “good” and this is the most perfect gift of all.

Let His goodness and mercy cover you today. Cling to Him when all seems lost. Cling to the “good” that He has given you…His Son, Christ Jesus.

Dearest Father God, sometimes we struggle to see good when so much is wrong with our lives. The storms, struggles, and strife we endure can make us unaware of the miracle of Your goodness. Please let us see You in every part of our day, even when we are wandering in darkness. Your love is all we need when we feel we are going under. We love you so much. Thank you for all that is good in our lives. In the wonderful name of Your Son, Christ Jesus, Amen
